Dulce De Leche - 250gm

A favourite staple in every Argentinean pantry, Dulce de Leche is to Argentina what Vegemite is to Australia. Traditionally eaten straight from the jar or spread on white bread or pancakes. Chimbote have perfected this rich sweet delight and is considered to be a top quality example of this countries icon with just the right balance of sweetness.

Serving suggestion: Whether swirled through ice cream, or heated to become a warm caramel sauce, you can't go wrong!

We also recommend it for a cheats banoffee, using a mini pastry case spoon some dulce de leche in the base, top with a slice of banana and then a dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy!
